The purpose of this article is to explain how to send gifts in Postal Economy.
First, you’ll want to select the Marketplace tab. You can choose from the following options:

All Collections - Groups of items that allow recipients to choose one gift

Specific Items - An individual gift to send

Recently Sent - A list of gifts you have recently sent
Select A Gift
Collections
Collections are great for giving your recipient options when choosing a gift to redeem. Postal has curated several Collections for you to choose from. You can even select your Gift Budget. A gift budget filter filters by the $$ amount you are willing to spend on a gift.
Example: Selecting the $100 filter will show you collections with items valued at $100 or less.
Specific Items
Specific Items contains a selection of individual items you can choose from. You can search by name and category. You can use the Gift Budget filter to limit your spending.
Select your item or collection and then select the Send Item or Send Collection option in the top right corner.
Add Recipients
Next, let’s select a contact to the Recipient list. You can add a new contact and/or choose from your existing contacts. If you have a large send in mind, you can upload new contacts via CSV or Excel.
Add a new contact
Select this option if you have no contacts yet or need to add a new contact. The minimum required information is the contact’s First Name, Last Name, and Email Address. When sending a gift, the contact will be prompted to enter and confirm their address.
Choose from your existing contacts
Select an existing contact from your existing contacts. Only contacts not already added to your recipient list will show.
Upload via CSV or Excel
Contacts can be uploaded directly into Postal from a CSV or Excel Spreadsheet. The file should contain a column for each of the following:

First Name
-
Last Name
-
Email
Each Column MUST be filled out.
Best Practice! We recommend following these instructions exactly to ensure proper upload.
Removing Contacts
Before moving forward, you may need to edit your recipient list. Simply click the trash icon to the right of the contact that you need to remove.
When you are ready, it’s time to set your message.
Set Your Message
It’s time to customize your Email! The Subject and Body of the email are customizable. You can write your own message or use any Saved Messages that you have. Saved Messages can be managed in your Account Settings.
Once you are satisfied with your email, it’s time to send.
Send
You may have noticed the Summary of your order on the right. For tracking purposes you can update the name of your Campaign.
Review the Details of your order and send!
Need to Report on your sends? Check out the Reporting tab. You can identify your campaign by it’s name and click on the name to see more details.
