Understanding the recipient experience in Postal is a crucial part of making sure your sends are happening the way you want them to. Testing your sends is easy and can be done for Triggers, Campaigns, and MagicLinks using one particular Item.

The Golden Ticket is a fake, cost-free item that allows you to see the recipient experience start to finish without deducting from your Budget or actually sending an item.
Search "golden ticket" under All Items in the Marketplace. This item may need to be requested and approved if your account has Item Approval turned on. Once you are ready to send, select Send this item.
From here, you can select how you would like to send.
- MagicLink - a link that can be copied and pasted
- Personalized Email - an email directly to one recipient or many (think campaigns)
- Direct - a send directly to a recipient(s) (NOTE - each recipient must have a verified address for the item to be sent)
Once you have selected your send method, follow the send flow. Feel free to use a trusted contact (or even yourself) to send this item to.
