Postal’s BambooHR integration makes celebrating employee milestones seamless by automating the send of items from the Postal Marketplace based on BambooHR data. Welcome new hires with a branded onboarding kit and make employees feel appreciated with a sweet treat or company swag for their birthdays, work anniversaries, and promotions–all without lifting a finger.


Before You Get Started

Ensure you have requisite administrative access in your BambooHR instance(s) to create API keys. This is necessary to establish a connection. Once you have it, follow these simple steps to create your API keys.

Step 1: Via User Profile, open API keys feature

Step 2: Create an API key. Ensure you store the API key in a secure location for future reference. API keys are not visible again after creation.

  

 

Integrating Postal with BambooHR


Starting in Postal, select your profile from the top right of Postal. Find Integrations from the Profile Menu (Left). Find the BambooHR integration tile and select Connect to BambooHR.

 

A pop-up will appear and prompt replies to the following:

Connection Name: give this connection a descriptive name
API Token: Insert the API key saved in Step 2 above
Sub-domain: the base URL of your BambooHR instance.

Once the required info has been filled out and the integration has been authorized you should see a success message. The BambooHR integration tile will change as well.

Clicking on Enabled will bring up the BambooHR integration Settings page.
