How to Find Tracking Information for a Recipient's Order

This guide will walk you through the steps to locate tracking information quickly and efficiently.

Navigating through the Order Report

From your Postal dashboard, go to Actions > Orders.

You can stay in the Overview view or switch it to All Orders

Once you have found the order you want to obtain tracking for, click on the item name.

The contact order will open, and you will scroll down to the section that says Order Tracking. Here is where you will see a link under Tracking Number that you can click on to obtain the tracking information.

Navigating through the Contact's Profile

 

From your Postal dashboard, go to Contacts and search for the contact by name or email. Once their name populates, click on the contact name to open up their profile.

Once you've clicked on the contact's name to open their profile, scroll down to orders and click on the name of the item you want to obtain tracking information for.

Once you've clicked on the item name, scroll down to the section that says Order Tracking. Here is where you will see a link under Tracking Number that you can click on to obtain the tracking information.

Navigating through the Order Report

 

From your Postal dashboard, go to Reporting > Order Report. This report provides a full view of all orders placed through your account.

 

 

Use the filters or the search bar to find the order tied to the recipient you're looking for. Once located, look to the far right of the row—if the order has shipped, the status will display as Shipped.

 

 

Click on the order status to open the Order Details Page.

 

 

 

Here, you'll see a complete breakdown of the order's history and fulfillment progress. Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the tracking number and carrier details. Clicking the tracking number will take you to the carrier’s website, where you can view real-time updates.

Still Don’t See Tracking?

If the order hasn’t shipped yet or tracking information isn’t available:

  • Double-check the order status

  • If you still have questions, feel free to reach out to Postal Support
    Be sure to include the recipient’s first & last name, email, and/or order number to help us assist you faster.
