Warehouse App

  • Updated

The Warehouse App allows you to place bulk orders, keep track of inventory, and create a Ship Notice (SN) to restock items or send in new ones. It’s available to all current warehouse customers.

All Warehousing customers with the Admin role already have access to the Postal Warehouse App (as of 9/14/23). Admins can now grant Users access to the Warehousing App by going to Profile & Settings Users click on the name to get to their profile click on the toggle to enable Warehouse Access.

To get to the App, log into Postal Engage and then use the App switcher in the top left corner to select the Warehouse App!

Inventory Levels & Location

All of your warehoused items are displayed in the Inventory tab. You can search for specific items and/or use the filters to narrow down your search by location and status.

SLAs

Event Sending Fulfillment

Event Sends are orders that require special attention, such as an event label or a specific delivery window.

  • Delivery window must be at least 4 days
  • Orders must be placed at least 10 calendar days before the first day of that 4-day delivery window. Need it sooner? Rush fees apply:
    • 7 to 9 days: $250
    • 5 to 6 days: $500
    • 3 to 4 days: $1,000
  • Event Fulfillment is available for US domestic delivery only

To submit an Event Send, place your order, then email the order number and details to warehousing@postal.com.

Bulk Inventoried Sends

Bulk Sends are non-event Sends with 15 or more items. Because these require extra time to pick and pack, they follow a longer SLA.

  • 15 to 300 units: 5 business days
  • 15 to 300 units with notecard: 6 business days
  • 300+ units: 7 business days
  • 300+ units with notecard: 8 business days

Inventoried Sends

Inventoried Sends are packed and shipped by our SFCs using items already in your inventory.

  • Standard Send: 2 to 3 business days
  • Standard Send with notecard: 4 business days

Sending Items to the Warehouse

The Warehouse App allows you to create SN labels to ship items to the warehouse.

If you want to send in a new item, click “Send new items to warehouse”

If you are restocking an existing item, skip this step, and go straight to the inventory list to begin selecting your products.

Creating SN labels

A Ship Notice (SN) must be attached to every package shipped to the warehouse.

  1. Select the checkbox next to the item(s) you want to send.

  2. Click “Send to Warehouse” and fill out the requested information.

  3. Click on “Download labels” and print the PDF.

  4. Attach the corresponding SN label to the outside of the package and ship it to the warehouse. The warehouse address will be printed on the labels. Shipping labels are the sender's responsibility.

Inventory Receiving SLA

When you send your inventory to our Sending Fulfillment Centers (SFC), it will take some time for your items to be unpacked, stored, and entered into the system. To ensure a quick turnaround time, it's very important to include a Ship Notice in your shipments to the SFC.

  • SLA with Ship Notice: 3-5 business days
  • SLA without Ship Notice: up to 3 weeks

Shipments

The Shipments tab allows you to view and track inbound and outbound orders created in the Warehouse App.

For an order report, reach out to warehousing@postal.com.

Features of the Shipments tab:

  • Order Number

  • Item image for quick reference

  • To/From indicating where your item is going

  • Status

  • Date the Shipment was created

Clicking on an order number allows you to see the shipping details and tracking. From this screen, you can print SN labels for any items in the shipment that need to be returned to the warehouse.
