This week at Postal, I’m here to say your release notes will arrive on another day (No it’s actually today. Right now.)! Another day, another dime, another rhyme, another dollar…I digress. 

 

We’re got quite a few updates to get into. Let’s just get into it.

Engage

 

Bugs Squashed

 
  • When using Saved Messages that contain a User’s title in a MagicLink, an error would appear when previewing.
    • Error no longer occurs when trying to use that variable.
 
  • Group Email Screen & Order Screen were showing the wrong variant.
 
  • A Query Not Permitted was occurring on the Profile Page. Resolved.
    • Previously an API error would trigger when a user-only member navigated to their profile page.
    • An API error no longer triggers when a user-only member navigates to the profile page.
 
  • The item display name was no longer showing up on a MagicLink Landing Page.
    • Previously item display names were not appearing on MagicLink and Event Landing Pages.
    • Item display names are now displayed on MagicLink and Event Landing Pages.
 
  • The Message Variable ${postal.itemName} was broken for magic link gift message variables
    • Previously using the custom variable of item name would cause an error for MagicLinks
    • An error is no longer occurring when using the itemName variable for MagicLinks
 
  • Prevent Double Clicking "Save This Event"
    • Previously a user could double-click on Save Event
    • Double-clicking is no longer allowed when trying to save an event after editing.  

New-ness! (Yes, it’s a word I made up)

 
  • Add Calendar link/invite back to Engage Landing Pages
    • Previously the event landing page needed a way for the user to get to the meeting link and calendar invite for their event.
    • Now they will have the ability to access that information from the Event landing page.
 

ABM

New

  • Added First-time notification for single accounts stats.
  • Edit Campaign: SFDC campaign field not populated with selected SFDC campaign
 

Brand 

 

New

  • CC’d recipients added during the Brand checkout process are getting the confirmed, shipped, and delivered emails.
