Managing Contacts

The purpose of this article is to explain how to add contacts in Postal Economy.

Contacts can be added in two ways

  1. CSV or Excel Upload - Best for large contact uploads

  2. Add Contact flow on the Contacts tab or during a send

 

 

CSV or Excel Upload

Uploading contacts via a CSV or Excel spreadsheet is very simple. Start with the following template:

 

Best Practices: Follow all instructions on the Template guide. No contact information besides First Name / Last Name / Email will be imported.

 

Add Contact

The other action available on the Contact tab is Add Contact. This will prompt a short form. The minimum required information is First Name / Last Name / Email.

Once the fields are filled out, select Add Contact.

View & Edit Contacts

From the Contact tab, you can select the checkbox to bring up an option to send to or remove a contact.

Selecting the name of the contact will bring you to a Contact Details page.

 

You can edit various fields on the Contact Details page by selecting the pen icons. This includes: 

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Email

  • Company

  • Address

There are various actions that you can take as well. Click on the Actions button to pull up a list:

  • Send Item

  • Download Contact - Download a single contact to a spreadsheet

  • Delete Contact - Remove the contact completely

Finally, you can also view Orders sent to this contact and Campaigns they are a part of.
