Warehousing FAQ

  • Updated

Does Postal own the warehouses?

No. We partner with the best third-party logistics partners in the business to make sure your items are handled as efficiently and professionally as possible.

Can I warehouse something in an international warehouse and send it domestically or vice versa?

You can ship internationally from the US, UK & EU warehouses.  These international shipments are shipped DDP.  Our AUS warehouse may ship domestic + New Zealand, Malaysia, Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Can I store items and not integrate them with Postal?

No. Warehousing is an add-on for Postal, not the other way around. We can only approve the warehousing of items that will be sent via the Postal platform.

Is everything included in the warehousing price quoted to me by Concierge?

Not quite. Shipping costs and printing of any specialty print shipping items (such as boxes with a printed logo, etc.) are separate costs from your base warehousing cost.

Will the warehouse package multiple different items for me?

Yes, the Postal warehouse has 2 options for you to choose from.

  1. Bundling: Perfect if you are unsure how many items you want to send together and would prefer flexibility, allowing you to store the items individually.  To create a bundle, please email warehousing@postal.com with the possible combinations of items your team might send i.e. shirt + hat, shirt + hat + book, book + hat.  The Warehousing team will create these items in your Postal instance and when your team sends that pre-set bundle, the Warehouse staff will retrieve each item as specified and package it in the same box for shipping.  We can add stickers to the outside of the boxes, pre-printed notes, customer packaging, or tissue paper. Bundling does not support special instructions, custom tape, or crinkle paper.
  2. Kitting: Perfect if you want a very specific unboxing experience and you know how many of the packages you may need to send.  These items are packaged in advance of shipment and are sitting on the shelf ready to go as the order is placed. To create a kit, please submit a kitting request to warehousing@postal.com.  Kitting requests may take up to 5 days to fulfill. Bundling does support special instructions, custom tape, and crinkle paper.
