Postal customers can leverage their 6Sense data to create automation with Postal. You can leverage this integration in both Postal ABM and Postal Engage. We'll discuss how later in this guide.
Before you start!
You’ll need:
- Admin access in Postal
- Access to manage Salesforce Campaigns
- Salesforce needs to be integrated with Postal

Create a Salesforce Campaign
Start by creating your Salesforce Campaign.
Step 1 - Navigate to Campaigns > Create New
Step 2 - Campaign Name
- Active Checkbox - Checked
- Type: Direct Mail
- Status: In progress
- Save
Now let’s move to 6Sense
In 6Sense

Step 3 - Choose your Segment
Step 4 - Adjust your filters and Push Settings as necessary
- Limit your Record Types to Contacts
Step 5 - Save / Preview / and Run Now when you are ready!
From here we have a couple of options.
- Set up a Postal ABM Campaign tied to 6Sense + Salesforce
- Associate items/Collections within Postal Engage with Salesforce and leverage 6Sense
Let's talk about Postal ABM first.
Postal ABM Campaign
Start in Postal ABM > Campaigns
Step 1 - Select Create Campaign (top right under your profile pic)
- Campaign Name - the name of the campaign for your reference
- Campaign Budget - the maximum amount of funds you wish to spend on this campaign
- Spend As - the user that will be spending funds.
- Note! The user you select will determine the team(s) that will be available to choose in the next option. A team cannot be used if the user you select is not part of that team.
- Send As - the Postal user that will be identified as the sender of this campaign.
- Meeting Request - Add a meeting request to each send. Shows up in the acceptance workflow for the recipient.
- Team - select the team and therefore the Budget and Funds that will support this campaign.
- Salesforce Campaign - The SFDC Campaign you wish to tie this ABM Campaign to (this where the magic happens)
- Status Mapping can be set to equal the same statuses in your Salesforce Campaign
- Only trigger send when Salesforce Campaign Member Status Equals - When does the Postal ABM Campaign get triggered?
- Sent
- Responded
- Length of Campaign - add a start and end date
- Choose an Item
- This is similar to the standard Postal send flow. Start by finding and selecting an approved item.
- Existing Collections can be sent using the filter option, Category, and then selecting Collections.
- Update the email and landing page then review the end result before approving.
As long as the Postal ABM campaign has a budget and the end date has not been met Postal will check your Salesforce campaign for new members every 15 minutes.
When creating a Postal ABM campaign, you can elect to trigger the Postal send based on a Salesforce Campaign Member Status.

Postal Engage
In Postal Engage, you can link items/Collections to Salesforce campaigns which will work together with 6Sense. Whether you send personalized emails, MagicLinks, or use Triggers, if your items are linked to a Salesforce Campaign, you can leverage your 6Sense data. Here’s how to associate individual items/Collections to your SFDC Campaigns.
Step 1 - Select the item or collection in the Marketplace you wish to associate with your campaign.
Note: a collection is mapped as a single item, not the individual items within the Collection.
Step 2 - Map to external campaign
Step 3 - Select the Salesforce integration
Step 4 - Select the desired campaign from the new drop-down
Step 5 - Edit Status Mapping
We recommend mirroring the statuses if possible and being consistent across all items. On the left, the Postal status will be populated. You will want to map them to your Salesforce statuses available on the right. Once you are done select Save Mapping.

And you’re all set. Postal + 6Sense is that easy!
