Bulk Approving and Editing is a great way to make larger changes to your items or get more items approved at once. Both workflows are very similar! Let's get started with Approving Items.
Note: Only Admins are able to approve and edit items
Approving
From the marketplace start searching for an item or category. Hover over an item and select the circle in the top left. This should apply a checkmark indicating you've selected this item. In addition, a new menu will appear at the top of the screen.
When all items are selected select Approve at the top of the page. You can also cancel the bulk approval workflow.
A confirmation box will appear that has various features and options.
- Items selected - a list of the items you have selected
- Enable or Draft - set items to active or approved as a draft for further editing
- Teams - designate which teams can send these approved items
- Map to External Campaign - map to a Salesforce Campaign
Once you have confirmed these options select Approve Items. Done!
Editing
When viewing your Approved Items, hover over the item and select the checkmark.
When all items are selected, select Edit at the top of the page. You can also cancel the bulk edit workflow.
A confirmation box will appear that has various features and options.
- Items selected - a list of the items you have selected
- Enable or Draft - keep items active or revert to a draft for further editing
- Teams - designate which teams can send these approved items
- Map to External Campaign - map to a Salesforce Campaign
Once you have confirmed these options select Approve Items. Your items will now be updated.
