Whether you are looking to upgrade from the Postal Managed Package v2.4 (or lower) or you just need to uninstall, this article will help you get it done.
Before You Start
You'll need to be an Admin in Salesforce.Uninstall Your Current Postal Managed Package
Start in Salesforce and select Setup. Then search for Installed Packages.Find the Postal Managed package and select Uninstall from the left.
- You will need to remove all reports and Dashboards associated with this Package
- Be sure and save your data in the CSV lists SFDC will provide. At the bottom of the Uninstall screen, you will see the option to do so.
- NOTE: You have 48hrs to access and use your exported data
Install the Latest Version of the Postal Managed Package
You can download the Update via the SFDC AppExchange- Once installed - access your saved files from the previous version and Import those items via Data Loader
- All future updates can be installed by downloading the latest version from AppExchange. Ancestry Data is available in v2.5 and later.
