How to setup a Workday Trigger

The Postal + Workday integration allows you to create automated sends based on the following Events:
 

  • Work Anniversary by Hire Date

    • 1 Year

    • 3 Year

    • 5 Year

    • 10 Year

    • 15 Year

    • 20 Year

     

    Work Anniversary by Continued Service Date

    • 1 Year

    • 3 Year

    • 5 Year

    • 10 Year

    • 15 Year

    • 20 Year

     

    New Role by Position Change

    New Hire by Hire Date

    Birthday

 


Note!
To create a trigger you’ll need to have the Admin role.
All dates are based on the Hire Date in Workday.
All triggers will be sent to the Worker's work email

 

 

Getting Started

Start by heading to the Triggers tab in Postal Engage.

  1. Select Create a Trigger from the top right of this screen (just below your profile/team)
  2. Title your trigger from the Create a Trigger page and then select the Workday integration.



3. Continue to work through the settings including selecting one of the 4 Events this trigger will use to take action and the action that will occur. In most cases, Send Item will be the choice.

 



Once you have completed all the options for the Trigger, select Create Trigger. And you are done. The trigger will fire once a contact has met the criteria you have created.
